Like Animals in the Night
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t have your cake and eat it, too. At least, not when it comes to picking this year’s Halloween entertainment. You want costumes? Dancing? Light shows? Gravity-defying acts? Cannibalism? Dream Circus Theatre thinks that’s no problem.
This year’s ghoulish production, I Am Animal, bills itself as “an interactive theatrical dance party” where guests are also actors in the night’s events. Arrive in costume as your favorite animal (and in your best dancing shoes) before traipsing through a series of themed rooms that feature epic diversions. There’s the Human Trophy Lounge (with live performances by Dream Circus Theatre) for the adventurous, the Human BBQ Museum for the brave, and, of course, the Afrika Mining Bar for the thirsty. Expect spooks, shocks, and enough awe-inspiring visuals and performance art to make your eyes sore. After exploring the festivities, get ready to dance. And dance. Expect music by John Kelley (Moontribe, Ball of Waxx Music) & Brian Seed (Moontribe), Ben Annand (Tropical, Moontribe), and Trevor Wyse & Travis Wyse (Greensector).
You’ll leave tired-eyed and footsore, but truly content. No compromises here–Halloween with Dream Circus Theatre hits all the notes (both figuratively and literally).
And the best part? Proceeds from ticket sales benefit two non-profit foundations: NextAid and The World Action Fund. Just like that you’ve started your holiday do-gooding early this year.
