Panic at the Festival
Since arriving on the scene, BAMP Project has quickly become the fasted growing concert production company in the Hawaiian Islands. It has a simple goal, which it’s pursued for years: to cultivate a thriving music scene in Hawaii. As such, BAMP doesn’t limit itself to any particular music genre, handpicking acts based on talent. Shows range from indie acts and musicians to local Hawaiian performers to November’s upcoming Point Panic Music Festival.
Last year’s Point Panic opened to surging crowds and a well-received set by Sublime with Rome. This year, the festival kicks off on November 16 in Maui with headliners Bone Thugs-N-Harmony plus support from other music acts including Groundation and Ooklah the MOC. Sounds great, right? But it’s the day after opening night when things get really exciting: Bone Thugs will travel to O’Ahu where Sublime with Rome returns to share the stage. Expect a night of classic Sublime singles along with a few new tracks, a dynamic performance by Bone Thugs, plus free food from Wahoo’s. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will then soldier on–finishing the epic tour in Kaua’i.
It’s an event not to be missed, and thanks to BAMP’s scheduling–Hawaiian inhabitants can catch the show on whichever island seems most convenient. Or, better yet, why not attend every night?
